DIMA Halal is your one stop solution to find halal food establishments in your direct vicinity. With DIMA HALAL you are ensured that you can always find a bite to eat without having to scroll endless dishes to find that 1 or 2 halal options. Within our platform we encourage and support only businesses that have a 100% halal offering. All the listed restaurants serve only halal and or vegetarian/vegan food. This means if a restaurant serves halal chicken but also serves pork or alcohol, you will not find it listed here. This to make sure none of our customers are accidentally surprised with produce they absolutely do not want.
Alhamdulilah, You bet! With every order (if the order amounts to ± €20,- or more) a meal is donated to someone in need. If you order for less than €20 we can't be sure if we are able to donate a whole meal from that, but a percentage will be donated nevertheless. You are still helping those in need no matter the size of your order! We are working very hard with our partner to integrate a more interactive platform where you can actually see the impact you have world wide!
DIMA Halal is aiming to make the world better by sharing resources. You order a delicious meal and in the process share a meal with someone who is less fortunate. To break bread with those in need is one of the duties in Islam. ’And when it is said to them, “Spend from that which Allah has provided for you”, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, “Should we feed one whom, if Allah had willed, He would have fed? You are not but in clear error”’. [The Noble Qur’an, 36:47] Abdullah bin Amr (ra) said, ’A man asked the Prophet, “What Islamic traits are the best?” The Prophet said, ”Feed the people, and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know”’. [Bukhari]
As a customer up to 10% of your order payment can be used for donations to one of our causes. How much exactly depends on our contracts with our registered business partners but is always between 5% - 10% . This way you know we take our goals very seriously and it is not just a marketing stunt.
To ensure everyone is able to order their favorite meal using their favorite payment options, DIMA HALAL allows most modern and standard payment options.
The DIMA HALAL Food order platform is built with the consumer (you) in mind. When ordering food we want you to have the best and smoothest experience doing so. We believe we can achieve this by setting up a stable, responsive and secure environment where you and the restaurants on our platform are directly linked through our platform. To smooth out the ordering process our framework was designed, where linking accounts (consumer to restaurant) is a key feature. Nevertheless, we have received several requests to enable guest browsing/ordering and we are analyzing possibilities to enable this in the future.
